Levenhuk Optics

Levenhuk Optics

Levenhuk Optics is an American-based optical manufacturer. Levenhuk optics offers several high quality optical devices and instruments.

Some of the instruments include microscopes, monoculars, telescopes, spotting scopes and binoculars.

The company’s is headquartered in Tampa, Florida in the United States with over ten sales and delivery branches around the world.

Levenhuk optics has that extensive dealer network around the United States, Azerbaijan, Canada, Southeast Asia, India, and Europe.

The growth of Levenhuk optics dates back to 2002 when the brands changed its focus to the underserved markets outside the US.

Particular attention was given to the production of children’s optics under the company’s Levenhuk LabZZ trademark.

Levenhuk’s main objective was to focus on the promotion of high-quality optics in these specific regions to satisfy the insufficient supply.

Levenhuk entered the main market steam with totally new optic products portfolio that were affordable for every optics customer.

Its success on this objective made it possible for the parent company to become a household name with one of the largest market shares. Today some of the company’s best products are the Levenhuk Binoculars.

Levenhuk Design Development

Overtime Levenhuk Company has upgraded some of its products and brought others into the market.

In 2013 for instance Levenhuk lifetime warranty was introduced to all products. Later in 2014 the company announced the introduction of six new binoculars series including the Levenhuk Karma, Levenhuk Sherman, Levenhuk Atom, and Levenhuk Rainbow binoculars.

In 2016, Levenhuk LabZZ series was introduced specifically for the children with Levenhuk LabZZ M101 microscope series and the Levenhuk LabZZ MT2 Microscope leading the race.

Later on in 2017, the Levenhuk Sherman Series was expanded with other new models called the Sherman BASE – a multifunctional bin with waterproof shells and Porro prisms.

Today, Levenhuk has introduced the Bruno PLUS series, which is a class of waterproof, and powerful binoculars specifically designed for astronomical uses.

They also introduced the Levenhuk Heritage BASE and PLUS in the summer of 2018 and later launched the production of Levenhuk Blaze BASE compact edition.

Levenhuk Binocular Series

From its first day of production, Levenhuk has approached its product design with a lot of diligence and creativity.

All Levenhuk binoculars with the exception of binoculars accessories come with a lifetime warranty. They keep their prices reasonable and maintain high quality production.

Right now, Levenhuk has a wide range of binoculars that are perfect for most observation needs and the budget. The top series from this American based manufacturer include:

The Levenhuk Monaco series is the highest quality among these series. It falls within the mid to high binocular value range.

All the Monaco models use the Bak-4 roof prisms and dielectric coatings, which is the best coating technology in the market for the best light transmission levels.

Levenhuk Monaco ED

The Monaco ED is currently the brands main flagship binocular series. It is the binocular design that I can easily describe as the mid-level bin with high-end features.

Levenhuk Monaco ED has six models with different sizes. From the small and compact 10×25 to the extra-high powered 15×56 model, Monaco can both save the general observer and the long distance hunter.

Fully Multi-Coated Lenses

All binocular models under the Levenhuk Monaco ED use fully multi-coated lenses. They also have the extra low dispersion glass for the best image quality.

BaK-4 glass Roof Prisms

In addition to that, the Monaco binoculars series also use the BaK-4 glass roof prisms. The roof prism with this high-end glass also maximizes the quality, clarity, and contrast of the final image.

57 Layer Dielectric Coating

It is however, the introduction of the 57 layer dielectric coating that guarantees the best experience. This smart coating technology provides the highest light transmission levels of over 97%.

This is the technology that high-end bins use. However, you will get it in the Monaco Series for a reasonably low price.

Single Bridge Design

There is the use of the single bridge design technology for the Monaco, which is a slight turn-off as most top-rated models now use the open bridge technology.

Even so, this has been compensated with the introduction of the large central focusing wheel for easy operation. The central focus wheel works together with the right eye diopter system for easy in-focus.

Nitrogen Filled

More importantly, the barrels are nitrogen filled to provide the best fogproof touch. There is also the use of the O-ring sealing to guarantee the best waterproofing technology under extreme weather.

NOTE: The series also use the twist-up eyecups, five-element eyepieces and an all-weather shockproof shell. The all are tripod adaptable and have neck straps, lens covers, and cleaning cloths included in their package. Like I mentioned, every model here has a lifetime warranty.
