Leica Noctivid Binoculars

Prisms

When prisms are phase-corrected, they leave you with sharper and high definition images. Thankfully, Leica also adds their “HighLux System” mirror coating on to these prisms.

Additional Features

Noctivid is fully multi-coated with a lead-free glass and comes with anti-reflection materials. Its outer lens surfaces are coated with the infamous Leica patented AquaDura Coating for maximum waterproof and fogproof touch.

The model also uses the high-end patented scratch resistant coating known as the “High Durable Coating (HDC)”. There is also the patented class 8 hardened surface coating that provides additional protection to all exposed metallic surfaces.

The real milestone however, is the innovative baffle technology that suppresses stray light and guarantees the best reduction of unwanted reflections.

Apart from employing the use of phase corrected Bak-4 roof prisms, every binocular model in this series has magnesium housing.
